132 Years of Preparing Students to Lead Everywhere
1889 Challenge
Agnes Scott College alumnae, students, faculty, staff, parents and friends will come together to celebrate the college’s 132 anniversary this Founder's Day on February 19, 2021. It is an important time for commemoration, as well as generosity! This Founder's Day, we are challenging at least 189 alumnae to give to The Fund for Agnes Scott in honor of the founding of the college in 1889.
Did you know that the percentage of alumnae who give back to their alma mater is a key factor in U.S. News and World Report college rankings? In the 2021 edition, Agnes Scott was highly ranked in numerous categories including No. 1 Most Innovative liberal arts college, No. 1 First-Year Experience, No. 2 Undergraduate Best Teaching, and more. Take a minute to learn more about Agnes Scott's most popular and widely-recognized rankings. Philanthropic support—of any amount—from alumnae is a factor in improving college rankings; effectively increasing the value of your degree.
Help us celebrate Founder's Day with a gift to The Fund for Agnes Scott by making a gift of $18.89, $189, $1,089, or any other amount by February 19, 2021. Gifts to The Fund for Agnes Scott will help the college provide the resources needed to ensure students succeed in both dual-mode (a mixture of in-person and remote learning) or entirely remote courses this spring.
